Day/night confusion at 2 weeks, awake from 1am-4am

Classic newborn problem I think but I'm desperate. Our 2 week old is bright-eyed and alert from roughly 1am to 4am every single night. Wants to feed, look around, hang out. Then sleeps beautifully all morning when I have a million things to do.
How do you actually flip this? Everyone says 'they'll figure it out' but I'd love some practical things to try.

The thing that flipped it for us: bright, busy, loud during the day even for naps (curtains open, normal noise) and then dead boring at night. Night feeds in dim light, no talking, no eye contact, change diaper only if really needed. Took about a week to shift.

Daylight exposure in the morning genuinely helps set their body clock. We did a little walk or just sat by a sunny window after the first morning feed. Their melatonin/circadian rhythm is basically not developed yet so you're teaching it.

Two weeks is SO early, please be gentle with yourself. We did the day/night cues but honestly the biggest improvement just came from him maturing around 5-6 weeks. You can nudge it but you can't force it.

Practical tip nobody told me: don't let the morning catch-up nap go too crazy. If she's sleeping 4 hour stretches at 9am, that's the sleep you want at night. I'd do a gentle feed-wake during the day to redistribute.

Honestly just came to commiserate. The 1am party hour is a rite of passage. Trade off with your partner if you can, one takes the witching shift so the other gets a solid block. It saved our marriage those first weeks haha.
